Smart glass manufacturing capabilities
Variable, intelligent, active, private glass - these are some of the names for the glass with variable translucency that is available from Dubiel Vitrum. Under the influence of an applied electrical voltage, the properties relating to translucency and light transmission change - when switched from an opaque state (an effect like in frosted film glass), the glass becomes transparent.
Variable glass at Dubiel Vitrum is achieved through the use of optical-electrical films of the LPF type, which are produced based on PDLCD/PET plastics. PDLCD [polymer dispersed liquid crystal devices] plastics allow us to take advantage of the liquid crystal dispersion technique (dispersion in optics: refraction of the frequency of a light wave).
The use of private glass saves money by reducing the cost of heating, air conditioning or lighting when glass replaces mechanical devices such as roller blinds, shutters and the drives used to control them. drives used to control them. In its inactive state, the glass blocks UV radiation - in this stage it does not consume electricity. In its active state, the glass blocks UV radiation - in this stage it does not consume electricity, and in its active state it consumes very little.
.Variable glass requires the use of a suitably sized transformer and a film connection strip. LPF, which is usually installed in one edge of the format. As standard, glass is manufactured in the following shapes rectangular; non-rectangular shapes with cut-outs and holes can be made to special order. Glass Glazing is powered by 60 V, AC / 50 Hz, so it is necessary to use a suitably selected transformer. It is therefore necessary to use a suitably selected transformer.
